Music Artist, Music Director, Songwriter & Producer, Filmmaker
Christophe Filippi is a French composer based in Los Angeles. Drawing from a wide range of influences, he combines traditional string and percussive instruments with electronic sounds to create instrumental music that ranges from classical cinematic scores to glitch IDM — experimental in nature, often deeply rhythmic, and built to act as an invisible character in the performing and visual arts.
Christophe’s music has found a dedicated home in contemporary dance and film. His original compositions have been heard on TV shows such as So You Think You Can Dance and Révolution, and in various works by award-winning choreographers and film directors.
Christophe Filippi has released five albums and two original soundtracks. His next album, Volume 2, will be released in the Fall of 2026.
Beyond his releases, Christophe Filippi is active across multiple disciplines of the entertainment and film industries. He was the music director for the Las Vegas show Fantasy, and he has composed and directed music in various live shows in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and China. Christophe is also a songwriter and producer for artists and projects in pop, rock, metal, and EDM.
As a filmmaker, Christophe writes, directs, edits, and scores films that are musically driven. His debut film Nowhere Near received multiple international awards including Best First-Time Director, Best Screendance, Best Original Music, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.
Outside of the art world, Christophe is a scientist with a Ph.D in Immunology, who has worked in academic & pharmaceutical research, and published patents as well as peer-reviewed articles.
